Random thoughts that date back from September 2009.
I’m in the taxi on my way to London Heathrow airport. I was in the area for two weeks, during which the trip seemed so long, away from my family. I look at the paved sidewalks and buildings of Richmond, where my hotel was, and again notice how similar to Montreal this city is. I think back at the duration of my trip and realize once more how quickly time passes. A flash, a vague memory imprint, like a picture printed out from a printer running out of ink. It’s almost as if it never happened. The good part is that I’ll soon be back with my son and wife and will have forgotten the lonlieness while gone on business.
